Remember those “Choose Your Own Adventure” books as a kid? (Do they still have those around or am I dating myself?) These were/are books that allowed you to choose the path of the story as you went along. Something like…
‘”Bobby is suddenly attacked by a huge snarling Giant Rock Troll thing!
What should he do?”
- If you want Bobby to smash the Giant Rock Troll thing in the face with a Ham sandwich turn to page 6.
- If you want Bobby to wet his pants and run away like a little girl
turn to page 98.
- If you want Bobby to sing “Swing Low Sweet Chariot” in an attempt to sooth the Giant Rock Troll thing turn to page 65.’
Well some WoW bloggers have come together to do something very similar set in Azeroth and spread across tons of different WoW blogs. Sounds pretty neat, right?

Hehe, yeah I remember them. Steve Jackson The Warlock on Firetop Mountain, I had to share a copy with my brother then I finally had the pocket money to buy my own copy. Guessing I’ve just let on I’m geting old here lol.
I got it the same week it was released. Outstanding fun.

Oh yes! I remember that name and we are dating ourselves here. There’s actually a wikipedia entry on that book you can read here – “The Warlock on Firetop Mountain/” I had tons of these books. Be sure to check out tomorrows post and thanks for the comment!
