Running with a high end 5v5 area is about as far removed from a duel at the crossroads as you can get. My first venture into the whole WoW Arena world was with a Survival Hunter buddy of mine. I figured I was pretty good in the battle grounds so I’d be pretty good in Arena play, right? Totally wrong. I got my fat Moonkin butt handed to me brutally and repeatedly. It was worse than rough.

I’m sitting here having my morning coffee looking down at a scribbled note next to the keyboard… “wtf is fwgy?”…that I wrote done last night. If you’re a player with a Battle Grounds past you’ve probably seen this before, as have I, but last night, for some reason, it struck a chord. Even in casual PvP play communication between players and groups is critical.
In the not too distant past Druids were not considered a real threat in most forms of Player vs Player in the World of Warcraft. Many a time on entering a battleground I’d hear the groans and mumbling. My, how times have changed.
Ever tried to pack sand? It doesn’t work so well. This term came to mind last night when running an Alterac Valley and having a nice frosty beverage. It was nice. Wife was asleep, the dog was asleep, light rain outside…perfect. Anyway, one of the runs had about 30 on each side and it started out like they all seem to do – a massive rush on Galv with a big group splitting off to drive south towards Frostwolf Keep.
